Paul Bartletts Fotopic site
Well I have not sent a message about new entries to my fotopic site for an absolute age - so thanks to the many of you who have found the photographs anyway. The total of photographs on the site is now the magic 2000. Most of the recent entries are a result of requests - I am sorry if your favourite hasn't appeared I do have a long list of wants which I will try to do. However, I am travelling a lot from home these days so it will be slow. I also like to put a few collections up of my own choosing - to get some variety in. If you do have a request an example of the number or number series really helps identify what wagons are meant. Don't worry if you can't do that but it is helpful.
Tyne & Wear Metro ex SR ballast hoppers - 3 photographs http://gallery6801.fotopic.net/show_collection.php?id=117211 Nicely presented 40 plus year old wagons - Walrus with cast bogies
Grant Lyon Eagre ex Southern Railway hopper - 3 photographs http://gallery6801.fotopic.net/show_collection.php?id=117187 At Littleton colliery and probably off of TOPS, a diamond bogie Walrus with SR lettering ghost showing.
Tarmac PGA wagons - 18 photographs http://gallery6801.fotopic.net/show_collection.php?id=117174 Two different batches and two distinctive liveries.
Redland/Railease PGA wagons - 21 photographs http://gallery6801.fotopic.net/show_collection.php?id=117096 Two designs and several livery modifications.
Freightliner box containers - 24 photographs http://gallery6801.fotopic.net/show_collection.php?id=113694 A mixed collection by request - containers were hard to find to photograph - usually in very secure locations and anyway I found them tedious - sorry clearly not a comment that modellers agree with as this has proven to be a popular collecton.
Amey Roadstone PGA wagons - 1st collection -32 photographs http://gallery6801.fotopic.net/show_collection.php?id=101395 May help with some modifications of the RTR and kits in 2, 4 and 7mm.
BR Mineral with 10ft wb - lot 3863 7 photographs http://gallery6801.fotopic.net/show_collection.php?id=101291 When prototype followed model. Aeons ago, Triang, Hornby etc. put mineral wagon bodies on 10ft wb, 17ft. 6in over headstocks underframes and, finally, BR followed suit in 1975.
BR open merchandise diag. 1/034, all wood body - 20 photographs http://gallery6801.fotopic.net/show_collection.php?id=100592 A useful multi purpose wagon.
PCA powder for Lever Bros, Cerestar, Rugby Cement - 13 photographs http://gallery6801.fotopic.net/show_collection.php?id=97293 Green, grey or white?
Rugby Cement PCA dry powder wagons in the 1970s and 80s - 29 photographs http://gallery6801.fotopic.net/show_collection.php?id=96699 Varying liveries from their introduction.
ICI PCA dry powder wagons for Sodium carbonate - 6 photographs http://gallery6801.fotopic.net/show_collection.php?id=96419 White and black - but watch for the Boulby green conversion.
