Next week's RAILDATE will be the last for 2005 and will be the bumper Christmas issue with details of TV and radio programmes over the whole festive season. The first issue in the new year will (probably) be on 6th January.

NETWATCH

Today, Friday 9th December, the most famous bus in the world, the Routemaster, takes its final journey through the streets of London. BBC Four and Arena celebrate the transport icon - on TV, Robert Elms, the son of a clippie, presents an evening of bus programmes on Saturday 10th December, including a new Arena film, while on the website, the BBC has unearthed Routemaster video clips from the BBC archive (unfortunately, many of the "Routemasters" featured are actually RTs!):
