RAILDATE: the weekly newsletter of the Hursley Park Model Railway Society: http://www.ibmhursleyclub.org.uk/ss/hpmrs/

NETWATCH

Rod Blakeman had a little steam running a couple of weeks ago at a friends in Lymington, you can see some video clips at:

The Mogul and Yellow C16 are Rod's.

A new emailing list has been created specifically for Sheffield and the surrounding area. There will be some overlap as North Derbyshire (and North Nottinghamshire) is considered to be a vital part of the Sheffield railway scene, so the Chesterfield area plus Hope Valley lines are valid areas of discussion:

A series of walks are planned by The Rowsley Association for the New Year visiting various historic sites of railway related interest around Rowsley, Derbyshire. Details at:

Quite a monster railway site:

Thanks to David Moore for spotting this site devoted to Webb's LNWR Coal Tank No 1054:

Lots of useful gen at the British Railway Modellers of North America, including a comprehensive list of model railway drawings:

A free piece of software that will (allegedly) prepare drawings from images. Apparently it allows you to open a drawing (bmp, gif, jpeg), set a scale from a known distance and then scale dimensions from the drawing. It is available for download from here:
