This year's Barrow Hill Roundhouse Diesel Gala on Saturday and Sunday, 8th and 9th July, will not only feature the usual shuttle rides and locomotives on exhibition, but will include four trains travelling from the platform in the roundhouse complex to Deepcar on the Saturday and two trains to Derby and Toton on the Sunday. The trains will be operated by FM Rail, and the proposed format is class 47 on the rear, 6 coaches and then a selection of mainline-registered locomotives from classes 20, 31, 45, 47 and 55. Tickets will be sold prior to the event and further details, with confirmation of traction, will be issued over the next few weeks. As it becomes available, further information will be posted at:
