Anyone interested in the bygone lines of Cheshire will find this map site useful. Although ostensibly for researching tithe maps, it has full aerial photographic coverage from 1971-73 of the whole of Cheshire and parts of surrounding counties together with OS maps from the 19th and 20th centuries. You can have a map open in one pane and an aerial photo in the other. Clever...! http://maps.cheshire.gov.uk/tithemaps/TwinMaps.aspx
